Variable Interest Rate – Also called “adjustable interest rate”. An interest rate that fluctuates as the prevailing rate moves up or down. In mortgages, there are usually maximums (caps) as to the frequency (annually or every three years for example and also “life of the loan caps”) and amount of fluctuation.

V.A. (Veterans Administration) Loans – Housing loans to veterans by banks, savings and loans, or other lenders that are guaranteed by the Veterans Administration, enabling veterans to buy a residence with little or no down payment.

Victory - When you win, you have a victory, or are the victor.
